Nanofil Aligner Attachment Flowable Composite is a low-viscosity, visible light-cured nanofilled composite engineered for high-precision orthodontic aligner attachments and minimally invasive restorative procedures. Its optimized rheology ensures excellent flow without slumping, enabling accurate attachment geometry, intimate surface adaptation, and predictable clinical outcomes.
Packaged in convenient syringe delivery systems and available in multiple tooth-matching shades, Nanofil delivers controlled handling, low polymerization shrinkage, and durable wear resistance, making it ideal for both orthodontic and restorative applications.
Nanofil Aligner Attachment Flowable Composite
Key Clinical Applications of Nanofil Flowable Composite:
Nanofil Aligner Attachment Flowable Composite is indicated for:
Clear aligner attachments
Class III and Class V restorations
Minimally invasive restoration of non-stress-bearing cavities
Base or liner under direct restorations
Repair of small defects in esthetic indirect restorations
Pit and fissure sealants
Undercut block-out procedures
Repair of resin-based and acrylic temporary materials
Product Advantages of Nanofil Flowable Composite
Optimized Flowability Low viscosity allows deep penetration and precise adaptation to enamel and attachment templates without voids.
Shape Fidelity for Aligner Attachments Maintains smooth, well-defined attachment geometry during tray placement and removal.
Nanofil Aligner Attachment Flowable Composite is formulated with:
Bis-GMA
TEGDMA
Nanofilled glass powder
This composition delivers an optimal balance of flow, strength, radiopacity, and esthetic performance.
Contraindications
Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to acrylic resin-based materials.
Possible Side Effects
In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions may occur due to individual sensitivity to resin components.
Precautions
This product may cause allergic reactions upon skin or eye contact.
Use protective gloves, goggles, and a no-touch technique.
In case of skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water.
In case of eye contact or allergic reaction, seek medical attention promptly.
Instructions for Use (Clinical Protocol)
Cleaning Clean the tooth surface using pumice and water to remove stains and debris.
Shade Selection Select the appropriate shade prior to isolation using a VITAPAN® Classical Shade Guide. For aligner attachments or sealants, a contrasting shade may be selected to enhance visibility.
Isolation Use a rubber dam whenever possible to ensure moisture control.
Pulp Protection Apply a calcium hydroxide liner where indicated.
Etching and Bonding
For Class III, Class V, minimally invasive restorations, and sealants: Use a total-etch technique with phosphoric acid etchant and compatible bonding agent.
Self-etch bonding systems may be used for sensitive patients.
Composite Placement Apply Nanofil Flowable Composite evenly into the prepared area or attachment template. Avoid metal instruments; semi-transparent matrices may be used.
Light Curing
Light shades: minimum 20 seconds
Dark shades: minimum 40 seconds
Finishing and Completion
Overlay with Nanofil Universal Restorative if used as a base or liner
Adjust occlusion, finish, and polish using standard polishing systems
For sealants, remove the oxygen-inhibited layer after curing
Storage Conditions
Store at room temperature (≤ 27°C / 80°F)
Protect from heat and intense light exposure
Do not store near eugenol-containing products
Discard used syringe tips after each application and replace with storage caps
Disinfect using an intermediate-level liquid disinfection protocol
